Blue Springs State Park, Florida

Georgia is such a looooonnngggg state that we were thrilled to finally get to the state line. I brought all kinds of things to read, my computer to work on pictures and I never had the desire to get any of it out. Cash traveled so well and only asked a few times if we were there yet. Im just so thankful that we arrived safetly. I was so nervous about this long trip that I couldn't stop praying about it.
The Manatees hang out in the hot springs until the St. John's River is warm enough for them to go back out for the year. The springs usually have about 200 Manatees that are stacked on top of each other. Babies ride on their mommas.
We did have our jackets on at one point then it got up to 74 degrees and it even was a little humid. So we shed the outer layer and enjoyed the warm air. I was just thrilled to wear sandles and feel the warmth. It even smelled good. It was so nice to spend time with Dad and Joyce before we head off. Dave has never been to the Marina wear dad camps and so we took him to all the places that Cash and I visited when we where here 3 years ago.

  1. Oh, Jenn!! It looks wonderful!! Your mention of the manatees, reminded me of the Veggie Tales song..."Barbara Manatee...you are the one for me..." : ) Missing you all already!!
